Great product even greater price
This is my first Replacement Element after 55,000 Ks
Be better to receive the modification instructions with the new model filter for the existing housing, either by link or the old fashioned paper way. Also be nice to receive a windshield sticker for next change interval like last time filter was purchased.
Easy to change came with new rubber and cap that i was not expecting well done , also came fast via post
I have had a Provent 200 fitted to my 2011 VW Transporter with the CFCA Biturbo 2L engine since 2015. I replaced the original filter with a non genuine one early this year as I thought the genuine one to be a bit expensive. This replacement worked very well and the return hose was completely free of any oil. HOWEVER, after a little while the engine oil seemed to be disappearing and the inlet tract downstream of the turbos was showing oil everywhere. By some testing at the oil filler cap, it seemed that the engine had a certain amount of crankcase pressure. I placed two fittings in the Provent pipework to measure the differential pressure across the filter and found that it had 1psi on a large scale gauge. This doesn't sound much but on replacing the original cleaned filter the DP was zero. I have since replaced this with a new genuine filter that came with the vent valve upgrade kit that was easy to deal with. The DP of this filter is also zero. Early signs are that the oil consumption is settling down but a bit more time and testing is required and then I will have to clean out all of the inlet tract, especially the intercooler where it tends to pool as the low spot in the system. Fortunately it is fairly easy to remove. Due to the engine generally running well and only having 78K on it, it's hard to imagine there is much else wrong with it. The Moral of the tale---stay with the original replacement.
Easy transaction & easy upgrade of my earlier ProVent 200 element to new style element.
I recently purchased a replacement filter and upgrade kit for my Provent 200. I tried doing it on the cheap by purchasing an aftermarket filter off ebay. Don't bother. They don't fit as the original.
For a piece of plastic wrapped in thin papercloth it is extremely overpriced, but you have no other option beaware of ongoing replacement costs before purchasing
Great easy to fit, unfortunately no fitting instructions for modified filter, google helped out there, no housing warning sticker either.

All efforts are made by Western Filters to ensure that your goods arrive safely and in a timely manner. However, we cannot be held responsible for Uninsured goods lost or damaged in transit.
We accept the return of goods which have arrived damaged or are nolonger required, aslong as returned within 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, on presentation of the purchasing invoice / receipt. Please let us know if you have misplaced or lost your receipt and we will confirm your purchase via your proof of I.d and by our records.
Exclusions: A refund, replacement, or repair won't be offered or accepted if the purchaser has modified or damaged the product, or have misused the product contrary to mannufacturer's or Western Filter's guidelines.
For exchange, credit, refund or repair we'll require business / personal information and signature in addition to your receipt. All purchases made on a debit/credit card will be credited back to the original card used. We also accept the return of goods where we have sent the incorrect product at no additional cost or if the product has been wrongly described.
For a successful return of an unwanted product the goods MUST BE; (a) UNUSED, (b) Undamaged and (c) REWRAPPED IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING. For the successful return of a faulty or damaged item; (a) contact us via email or phone (b) repackage and await shipping instructions.
